Being a human being is a full time job

With extensive experience working with a diverse population on a wide range of psychological issues, I am trained in a number of techniques which I tailor to each individual client depending on their needs.

My areas of expertise include the following:

What to Expect:

Meet-and-Greet:
I am happy to schedule a brief meet-and-greet to allow us the opportunity to get to know one another better, clarify practical concerns, and determine whether working together feels like a "good fit."

Before the First Appointment:
Once an appointment has been scheduled, I will email you a number of forms for you to complete and bring to/send before your first appointment. This paperwork covers basic information that I will need from you and informed consent allowing us to work together.

The First Appointment:
We will spend the first appointment talking about what is going on for you and what you hope to achieve through our work together.

Subsequent Appointments:
It is important for you to initially commit to weekly appointments to set the foundation of our work. Therapy is like a workout for your brain. In order for change to occur, it is important to build a consistent "workout routine."  We will choose a time each week which will be your dedicated time/space. Appointments are typically 45 to 60 minutes minutes once a week.
